Upon growing up and graduating from high school in Toronto, Canada, Bob attended the University of Arizona and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
Spoiled by the weather, Bob decided that the “Sun Belt” certainly appealed to him and was determined to make the United States home. Bob joined a small wholesale sun glass company that distributed product to all the major department stores, mass merchandisers, drug stores and sporting good stores throughout the United States and Canada. As the company was evolving into one of the largest in the industry, Bob was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. His job led him to live in Phoenix, Los Angeles and eventually to Dallas where he has resided since 1990.
After 25 years in the wholesale industry, it was time for a change and through the encouragement of a friend, Bob started his new career in the mortgage industry. He was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some incredibly knowledgeable mentors over the years. In May of 2006, Bob and Scott decided to use this knowledge and their dedication to service, along with an entrepreneurial spirit to start their own company. One of Bob’s goals is to educate the public while maintaining a hands-on approach with each and every client.
Bob is married with two grown children and three grandchildren who all live in the Metroplex. He is involved in the community where he acts as a mentor/buddy to 3 young boys and also supports the local Chambers of Commerce.++
